The document discusses Isaiah 40:5 and its fulfillment. It argues that the prophecy of the glory of the LORD being revealed was fulfilled multiple times in the Old Testament, not just through Jesus. A 40-page analysis is referenced that examines Old Testament prophecies about God or his glory coming to dwell with his people or in his temple and how they were fulfilled in the Old Testament. The document also references a 30-page analysis of the different terms used for God (LORD/YHWH/Jehovah) and titles for humans and Jesus (Lord/Adonay, Lord/Adown, Lord/Kurios) to argue that calling Jesus Lord does not make him the same as God. Some say that because Isaiah 40:5 says "the glory of the LORD shall be revealed," and people saw Jesus then Jesus is LORD God. Isaiah 40:5 And the glory of the LORD shall be revealed, and all flesh shall see it together, for the mouth of the LORD has spoken. There is an in depth forty page analysis of all the OT prophecies (01F linked below), including Isaiah 40:5 which is fulfilled in Isaiah 60:1, of the LORD God or his glory coming to dwell/live on the earth, with the people or in His temple, and how each of those prophecies were fulfilled one or more times throughout the OT. The prophesies are in Part 3A-3F (Isaiah 40:5 is in Part 3B) and the OT fulfillments are in Part 4A-4F. Some of them had near and far fulfillment in the OT, some in both the OT and the NT. 01F God is Coming To Live With The People linked here If the length of the study seems to long, just study the introduction and index which is a page or so, and the list of summaries and final conclusion which is three pages which will provide proof that Isaiah 40:5 does not in any way show that Jesus is God. Also: There is also an in depth thirty page analysis of the differences and similarities between LORD/YHWH/Jehovah, Lord/Adonay, Lord/Adown, and Lord/Kurios which includes a look at Isaiah 28:16 and its meaning. The study shows that only the God of the universe is called YHWH/LORD. In the OT people were called Lord/Adonay and they were called Lord/Adown. YHWH God was also called Lord/Adonay and Lord/Adown. In the NT God, people, and Jesus were called Lord/Kurios. What has happened is that because of the inter use of some of these terms people have mistakenly understood Jesus and God to be exactly the same Lord. This study shows that this theory is incorrect and that Jesus is Lord but he is not God, and he is not YHWH which is God. 37D Who is LORD, who is Lord, who is lord xxxx linked here soon If the length of the study seems to long, just study the introduction and index which is a two pages, and the list of summaries and final conclusion which is also two pages. This will show that because Jesus is Lord he is not God. In fact it shows how because Jesus is Lord he is not God!
