Tyron Webster is a House and R&B music artist based in Leeds.

To create a decorative logo influenced by the artists genres of music, mixing a


techno style in the forefront followed by a soulful aesthetic at the bottom. Using
bold colours, selected by the artists which are also influenced by the artists music
which coincides with the overall visual aesthetic

Brief

Deliverables

To design a logo for Tyrons upcoming tour and performances across Leeds that can be
transferable for printed posters and online content such as sound cloud.

Visual Research

Colour

Research into existing logo designs from studio moross, experiment with decorative and
alternative type to create a bold and individual outcome.

The client specified that they wanted a selection of colours within their logo, researching
into existing branding of artists that execute this style of design was a major influenced on
the input of colour in this brief.

Typography

The concept was to create a logo that represented the artists music genre and style a
series if decorative type application where experimented with to represent the R&B and
Techno genre though bold and light type.

A series of decorative fonts where used and advised by the client to create a signature
logo.
Final
The fonts used are Attitude 3D and Baron Neue Regular that visually represent these
genres. The monochromatic designs will be used for printed media if the background
designs are not transferable for printed media

Pattern

The decorative juxtaposing type was influenced by the artists genres of music,
mixing a techno style in the forefront followed by a soulful aesthetic at the bottom.

Colour patterns where introcued and also influenced the colour choices as the client
specified that they wanted a spill colour effect.

The bold colours are also influenced by the artists music which coincides with the
overall visual aesthetic.

Final Resolution

Distribution

The final resolution take two forms, both designs juxtapose on another for alternative
methods of distribution and visual variation

The first logo would be used for printed material to ensure all the colours are in the right
format for print. With the spill colour Design to be used for web due the high volume of
colour.
