Reflection Day I
Directions:

Welcome Back to Class! Today we are going to reflect upon our internship
experiences. Complete the following using your best handwriting and the
tenets of Standard English grammar, punctuation and spelling. Happy
Reflection!

VTfT Interns Name: Samantha Trujillo

My Cooperating Teachers Name: Mrs. Fernandez
My Internship School: Newtown Elementary School
My first day impressions were that all of Mrs. Fernandezs students are well- behave. All of her
students were really nice and excited to learn.
My cooperating teacher is best described as being nice to her students but she can be strict when
she needs to be.
My most memorable moment was seeing each student be able to work with the teacher. I like
how all the students had time with the teacher.
My most awkward moment was when a student did not listen the teacher and the teacher raised
her voice.
The most exciting thing Ive learned is that the students had time to rotate through each activity. I
thought it was a nice way for the students to learn the time.
The scariest thing Ive learned is that most students forget what they have been taught and most
parents at home arent helping out with their homework.
What I wish I knew before I started my internship that teachers put more time into setting up for
class and what they are going to teach than actually teaching the lesson.
Questions I have are Does the students learn a new lesson each week?
