We are born with a raw/untested personality.

As we grow, we tend to learn different

facets of society and how to abide by its rules. Some of these rules are taught to us
while others are learnt from experiences and as we are exposed to such situations, we
tend to form masks which are molded according to our outcome.

I believe these masks, although in actuality parts of our personality, are also
sometimes a self-defense which keeps our center at bay as a natural reaction to avoid
deceit, pain and exposure at the behest of another person. Our center can be
opinionated and have extremists views, ready to believe hastily and be attached to
other people, ambitious, solipsistic and all those negative aspects that one perceives to
be negative. As a result these masks come to creation to protect our center and to
protect others from our center. Sometimes, some situations do not pan out in our favor
while we use our center to solve them and thus masks are created to turn the situation
to our desired outcome. It is this purpose of creation I fear the most as it can happen
we get too used to these masks while forgetting our center.

So, its important to not forget who we were before the storm as although we evolve,
we still need not forget our provenance. However, be it work or personal life, we need
these masks to live life and simultaneously survive society...
