This document outlines a goal to improve 4th grade students' reading comprehension skills, as measured by their DIBELs DAZE scores and exit tickets. Bi-weekly pre-post tests, weekly exit tickets, and mid-quarter DIBELs data will be used to monitor comprehension of vocabulary, main ideas, and events/ideas from September 2014 through January 2015, with a target of raising 85% of students' DAZE scores by 5 points by the end of the second quarter.
