High efficiency in carbonation

Pinpoint Carbonation
Highest CO2 saturation micro-pore plates
inject bubbles only five to nine microns in
size.
No bubble breakthrough the gas is
completely absorbed.
Low foam, improved bonding.
Full range of capacities (see overleaf).
Also available in microbrewery and other low
flow applications.

Models 2 thru 6

PRINCIPLE OF OPERATION
The injector plates in the Wittemann Pinpoint
Carbonator are micro-porous and feature large
contact surfaces on both sides. Beer passes across
the plates as a thin liquid film, immediately
receiving full CO2 saturation even at the lowest
possible flow rate. The foam head remains stable
over long time periods; when the head does
recede, CO2 saturation continues to hold at a high
level.
The immediate saturation and improved bonding
provided by pinpoint carbonation reduce foaming
during the transfer of beer from Ruh to storage and
greatly reduce the beers air content.

Residual CO2 is used for carbonation from Ruh stage

to 2.75 volumes or, depending on flow
requirements, up to 3.0 volumes in one passthrough.
Other features are described briefly on
the reverse side.

Model 1

ADDITIONAL Simple, economical in-line installation, in either vertical or horizontal line run.
WITTEMANN Easily cleaned by solutioning in line or by ball brush when the Pinpoint is removed from the line
ADVANTAGES and replaced by a spool piece.
Stainless Steel construction, with no hidden crevices, bends, or orifices to hinder complete
sanitizing.
Internally, easily replaced gas side check valves.
Tri-clamp cover plate retainers for easy access to internal porous discs and check valves.
Lowest pressure drop of any carbonating system.
CO2 gas-injection valves included.
Optional stand available for convenience and mobility.
Has added applications for nitrogen injection and wort aeration.
Optional tri-clamp ends available upon request.
