The Friends of the Gilkey Center of the Portland Art Museum cordially invite you to a lecture by Sam Davidson, a Seattle gallery owner, print collector, and art historian. Mr. Davidson will survey the work of printmakers from the early period of exploration in the Northwest to the beginning of the Second World War, including the contribution of the Gold Rush, the Alaska-Yukon Exposition, and the W.P.A. The lecture will take place on March 6, 2010 at 4:30pm in the Miller Gallery of the Mark Building, with a reception beginning at 4:00pm. RSVPs are requested by March 1.
