    1. Install Inkscape-34bit version although your machine is 64bit !!!

    2. Install the following software


    2.1. Miketex-32bit
    2.2. Ghost script-32bit
    2.3. GS view-32bit
    2.4. Pstoedit (select the same folder as GS view, i.e. C:\Program Files (x86)\Ghostgum\pstoedit
    where the location of GSview is C:\Program Files (x86)\Ghostgum\. Also tick the following
    components during installation

    2.5. ImageMagiv-32bit
    2.6. textext-0.4.4.exe (from http://pav.iki.fi/software/textext/index.html)
    3. Append the following text to the path variable System>Advanced settings/Environment variables
    3.1. C:\Program Files (x86)\MiKTeX 2.9\miktex\bin;C:\Program Files
    (x86)\gs\gs9.10\lib;C:\Program Files (x86)\gs\gs9.10\bin;C:\Program Files
    (x86)\gs\fonts;C:\Program Files (x86)\ImageMagick-6.8.8-Q8;C:\Program Files
    (x86)\Ghostgum\pstoedit
    4. Replace the textext.py file in C:\Program Files (x86)\Inkscape\share\extensions with the file
    in http://laconsigna.wordpress.com/2010/11/13/fixing-textext-on-inkscape-0-48/. This is
    available in this folder
    5. Overwrite python site-packges (C:\Program Files (x86)\Inkscape\python\Lib\site-packages)
    with the files in this folder.
