Introduction

This proposal addresses the problems of minor crime in our city. For this
purpose, I would like to make you aware of the current situation and to
recommend possible solutions.
Vandalism
Our community has been suffering from young vandals who are causing
criminal damage to private and public properties. In consequence, I propose
they need to perform/carry out Community service. Therefore, it could be
interesting if the police would be involved in this project.
Fighting
Despite the fact that fighting is a minor problem, I have in mind to create a
youth club because the community is concerned about new troubles
between young groups. What is more, they could learn respect, coexistence
and work together playing sports or performing new activities to channel/to
focus their rage.
Theft
A big number of thefts were committed last year, for this reason, the
community is afraid of new robberies. Security cameras and night watchmen would be truly helpful.
Intimidation
We are especially worried about the way young people are reacting in front
of each other. It would be a good idea if the police and the community group
work hand in hand. As a result, they will be taught how to manage their
behavior.
Conclusion
The areas identified in this proposal are most in need of improvement.
Helping young offenders to learn about rules and conduct is the key to
develop more constructive ways of behavior. In addition, patrols and
surveillance units are necessary to protect our community.
