Woman's Monologue
Woman's Monologue
By Craig Wright
Look, does this ring not mean anything to you? Im married. Even if I werent married, if you
were the last man on Earth; I still wouldnt go to shore view with or around the block with you.
This isnt being hurt. Hurt barely touches this. There is a pain beyond hurt. Its vast and its
endless and it doesnt sting and it doesnt burn. It just weighs like some sick nauseous gravity.
Thats what you did to me.
The day I called your house and your dad answered and said you left to college and not to call
backDo you have any idea how alone I felt? And now you show up here, talking about old
times, thinking you could invite me on some date? And Im willing to sit here and listen? You are
so sick.
