    Severalsheetsofrectangularandsquarepiecesofpaper
    (magazinecovers,constructionpaper,catalogpagesandsoon)

    Stepstomakeabox:

    1.Foldthepaperinhalflengthwise.Makesureallcornersareeven.
    Unfoldthepaper.
    Parent:
    Howmanypartsarethere?(two)
    Eachpartiswhatfractionofthewholepaper?(halforonehalf)

    2.Foldeachlongsidesotheoutsideedgecomesexactlytothe
    middleline,asshownbelow.Unfoldthepaper.

    Parent:

    Eachpartiswhatfractionofthewholepaper?(onefourth)

    3.Foldthepaperinhalfacrossthewidth.Unfoldit.
