    Grandpa Jones was a country musician born in Kentucky known for playing the clawhammer banjo. He began his career singing folk ballads on the radio in the 1930s and gained popularity as a member of the Grand Ole Opry and the television show Hee Haw from 1969 until his death in 1998. Some of his hit songs included "Eight More Miles To Louisville", "Mountain Dew", and "Old Rattler". He was inducted into the Country Music Hall of Fame and was known for his trademark phrase "Outrageous!"
