Subject: Fareset and OCU Displays for Silver Line (910) Service

A new Fareset has been added to the farebx to support the Silver Line (910) service that will
go into effect with the December 2009 shake up. Operators who are assigned to the Silver
Line (910) senice must select Fareset 5 when logging onto the farebox at the beginning of
their shift. The cash fares for the Silver Line service are as follows:

$2.45 - regular fuIl fare


$1.15 - senior / disabled peakcash fare
$0.85 - senior / disabled off veak cash fare

Monthly and weekly full fare passes for the Silver Line (910) senrice require zone up-charges
as with other Metro service. The zone upcharges for monthly and weekly f d fare passes
are as follows:

GoRegZO - $1.20 zone up-charge is required for passes without prepaid zones.
GoRegZl - $0.60 zone up-charge is required for passes with one prepaid zone.
GoRegZ2 - no zone up-chargeis required for passes with two prepaid zones.

Senior/Disabled. College, and Student reduced fare passes will continue to have no zone up-
charges.

The OCU display for Day Passes needs to be updated for the Silver Line service, as there will.
be NO up-charges for zones with day passes on this service ONLY. The following will be
displayed when a customer has a day pass on their TAP card:

GoDyPass - for regular fare day passes


GoSD Day - for senior / disabled day passes
