The idea for my production was to make a horror film that did not rely
on all of the gimmicks that are used in a lot of current horror films
which usually consist of a lot of jump scares that people have become
bored of as it makes the film seem lazy and gives the films bad
reviews. A film in recent years was the conjuring which received very
good reviews and did very well in terms of sales and was one of the
best rated horror films in a long time. I
wanted to base the style of my film of this
one, using suspense and tension to make
people sacred whilst watching the film rather
than making jumpscares. I decided to also do
the film in a found footage style like the Blair
witch project which was also very successful, I
think that I will be able to make a suspenseful
horror film and also make it a found footage
film which will make the film cheap to make
and with the correct effects will make the
film realistic and should be popular.
