ITV Re-Branding

ITV re-branded their channel to give off a whole new


personality to the viewers. They may have done this to
stay up to date with the modernising world, as their old
logo looks out of date compared to the new logo. Also,
ITV re-branded because they hired a lot of new people in
an attempt to win more awards for the quality of the
organisation, competing with others such as BBC, by rebranding they are taking a step forward to achieving this.
The re-branded logo is formed of many colours, which
gives off a multi-cultural image to the viewer, which
indicates that the country is united in watching ITV,
unlike the previous logo. Furthermore, the new logo is a
fancy curved font called ITV Reem which links in with
the show The Only Way is Essex. Viewers are intrigued
by this font more than the previous as it used to be a
simple plain font, which does not catch the eye of the
viewer like the new, modernised one does. Since bringing
the new logo out, ITV have introduced a new channel
named ITV Be which every viewer is interested by as it
is rare a new channel is released especially a high quality
company like itself. This channel broadcasts the highly
popular show TOWIE which is why ITV are receiving
high amounts of recognition for the creation, by doing
this they have widened their viewer base and are up to
date with the modernisation of the world.
