Shocking discovery
MATT:)
Dear Diary
In 1856 Croatia July 10th a stormy night were the wind howled like a wolf and the thunder roared
like a giant, I was born, my parents called me a smart and independent baby. My parents named me
Nikol, Nikola Tesla. My family relatives all thought that name was a
bit obscure but it didnt change my mum and dads minds. They were
very strong when they believed in something nothing could change their
minds Everyone said to me that I had my mums eyes and my dads nose
but I couldnt tell, to me I looked completely different.
As I got older my older brother,David, got sick and died. When David
died my whole family wasnt very upset because we all knew at one point
it was going to happen and before he died we all got to say our
goodbyes, as my mum always says its better to die with a disease than
die suddenly well, at least for the family. David and I were very close
so when he died I went a bit quiet and became more independent. When
I was home I liked to go outside and catch frogs and sometimes when I
couldn't find any, I would make some simple inventions such as small
water wheels. As I grew older I started an Interest in poems and
everyday that passion would grow bigger.
In 1970 I moved to Carlstadt completing 4 years of education in just 3. My favorite subject was
Science and my parents were pleased to hear that because when they were at my age they always
had liked since, I guess it just runs in the family. My parents were so supportive we event went to
Austria Gatz, just to see a science demonstration of an electric generator. When the demonstration
was over My mind was about to explode because I could thinks of so many different ways to improve
it.
In 1882 I graduated and the subject that I chose was Science because I wanted to work for my
hero Thomas Edison so I moved to france so I could. When I was a kid the one thing that I dreamed
of doing was working for Thomas Edison. I kept bugging my parents about it, eventually they trained
themselves to ignore it.
In 1883 I invented the first motor running on AC(alternating current) electricity. In my head I kept
saying to myself you are the best. you are the best I was so stoked that I tried to sell it but no
one trusted AC electricity because it was dangerous and hard to control. My invention was a FAIL I
said to myself but I couldn't accept it so I moved America New York City to try sell my invention but
still no one bought it. I was confused and frustrated because I spent all this time inventing my
product and no one cares about it. I also didn't understand why no one bought it because AC
electricity can travel further than DC electricity plus it travels quicker.
I was so furious 1884 I even organised a meeting with Mr. Edison to discuss what is the problem.
Because I spent so much money on making my Invention I was broke so to make money I had to dig
holes for people but that never stopped me from thinking of new ideas. At one point to lower the
amount of voltage power in AC electricity I tried shortening the amount of coil in the generator this
actually worked. I quit my job and shared my discovery friends and family. Sadly no one really paid

any attention to AC electricity. So again I failed.

Sadly in 1943 I died, I had no money and my laboratory where I worked is now going to be turned
into a museum. So just remember without my discoveries you would never have had bluetooth and the
world would be so much more polluted.
