Hello everyone,
We are now into the second week of swimming lessons for some of the classes and, I have to say,
the improvement and development in the childrens competency has been quite phenomenal.
Well done to all those who have been going, your high level of engagement and terrific listening
skills have been the contributing factors to such a huge development in skill.
Swimming lessons are an extremely important part of the Physical Education and Health Curriculum;
all children need to learn how to swim. I would like to thank the P&C for their support by providing
$3000 generously subsidising the overall cost thus resulting in more children being able to access
these valuable lessons.
We received some wonderful feedback from the Principal of Frankland Primary School, Ms Bronwyn
Morris after a recent visit to their school by our legendary Lockyer Leapers.
Thanks for allowing the Lockyer Leapers to visit our school. Our students were very impressed and
enjoyed interacting with the skipping team. One of our Year 1s wrote about the visit and said that
she was amazed and spellbound! Ms Morris said.
