    rememberfromthisyearinbiologyisaboutthebrain.Ienjoyedlearningabouttheparts
    ofthebrain.Someofthebrainpartsarethefrontallobe,parietallobe,occipitallobe,
    temporallobeandthecerebellum.Thefrontallobehastodowiththinking,judgement,
    andproblemsolving.Theparietallobehastodowithperception,mathematics,and
    spelling.Theoccipitallobecontrolsyourvision.Thetemporallobeiswherelinkedto
    yourmemory,understanding,andlanguage.Alsothecerebellumcontrolsyourbalance.
    ThisgivesmeabetterappreciationofBiobecauseIcannowknowhowmybodyworks
    andhowIcanhelpitout.

    Lookingbackattheyearonetopicthatwasverydifficultformewasmeiosisand
    mitosis.ItwasveryhardformetograspbecauseIdidnotunderstandhowthecells
    weremadeinmeiosisandmitosis.Ialsohaddifficultyunderstanding
    codominance,incompletedominance,simpledominance,andmultiplealleles.Iwas
    hesitanttoaskquestionsbecauseIthoughtIwouldgetlaughedbymyclassmates.Iwill
    trytoimproveinthisareabytryingtoaskforhelpandstudying.

    ThisclasswillimpactmeinthefuturebecauseInowknowhowexercisecan
    helpmeliveahealthylifestyle.ForexamplewhenIwaslearningaboutthebrainI
    learnedhowworkingoutcanhelpyourawareness.Also,whatIlearnedinsciencewill
    impactmyunderstandingofthelivingworldbecauseIcanseedifferentthingsthatI

    AftertakingthisclassInowhaveabasicunderstandingaboutthebrainandothercells
    thatareinourbody.IwouldreallyliketolearnmoreaboutthebrainbecauseIenjoyed
    learninghowitworks.IdothinkIambetterpreparedasasciencestudentmovingon
    becauseIfeelreadyforthenextlevel.
