    OBJECTIVE To obtain a job as an elementary school teacher. I have chosen this career path
    because working with children comes naturally to me; young children respond well to me and I
    enjoy watching them grow and achieve their goals. I will be certified to teach grades K-8 in
    June 2015.
    EXPERIENCE IN THE EDUCATION FIELD
    STUDENT TEACHING AT SHARPSTEIN ELEMENTARY SCHOOL--SEPTEMBER 2014JUNE 2015
    I worked in the dual program in the second and third grade English Language Arts classroom. I
    co-taught with my host teacher working in subjects such as spelling, grammar, phonics, and
    opinion writing.
    AFTER SCHOOL CAMP COUNSELOR AT CAMP FIRE USA--SEPTEMBER 2013PRESENT
    I work at Campfire USA as an after school camp counselor. My job includes- preparing snack
    for campers, helping with homework, playing games in the gym, and much more. This job has
    taught me a lot about the many different personalities found in elementary school-aged
    children.

    Fall 2013-Present: I attend Walla Walla University with a major in Elementary Education and a
    minor in Art.
    2011- June 2013: I worked toward obtaining my Elementary Education degree at Walla Walla
    Community College; and I consistently made the Deans list.
    2011: I graduated with honors from Stadium High School in Tacoma, WA.
