4th Grade Skill Session: 1) Review concepts of shooting (aim for corners, shoot hard so goalie has less time to react, etc.) 2) Break into three groups, everyone has their own ball and a score card for the group, they will spend 3-4 minutes at each station 3) Shooting stations on 1 court; set up a cone about 10 yards from each goal or target a. Shoot at a field hockey goal from the cone; after everyone on your team goes, collect the balls and repeat till time to rotate; return to cone each time; 1 point/goal b. Shoot at a rebound board from the cone; 2 pts/hit c.
