UK Student Visa - Your finances/maintenance funds:

1. From 1 October you will only need to show proof that you have the money
needed, in your Personal OR Father's OR Mother's bank account, for 28-day
period ending no more than one month before the date of your application
Your personal bank statement should show:
• your name/Father or Mother's name
• the account number;
• the date of the statement;
• the financial institution's name and logo; and
• the amount of money available.

2. Letter from a Bank confirming a loan

Your letter from the financial institution should show:
• your name
• the date of the letter;
• the financial institution's name and logo; and
• the money (or funds) available as a loan.
