Two full retention oil separators, Models Oil Seperator-1 and Oil Seperator-2, operate using the density difference between oil, water, and solid particles. Water sinks to the bottom of the tank while oil rises to the top, allowing the phases to separate. An alarm activates if oil reaches the oil sensor, indicating the need to pump oil out from the top until only the sensor level remains. Once pumping is complete, refilling the tank with water resets the alarm.

Model: Oil Seperator-1- NSFA 065 (Nr Drain Tank), Oil Seperator-2 NSFA 150 (Nr HRSG11) Oil separation is based on the density difference. Water will get collected at bottom portion of tank, oil remains in top side of tank. When total tank is filled up to outlet pipe level than water overflow to storm water pit. Oil separator alarm will activate in local panel when oil touches to the oil sensor, in that case, need to takeout oil from top side of tank by portable pump up to the sensor level only (for NSFA 150 it is 3300mm from top portion of neck). Again need to refill the tank with water up to overflow level (water flow can be observed at downstream manhole). Oil alarm will get reset as sensor comes in contact with water.
