Beforehand, I am grateful to God for the good health and wellbeing that were necessary
to complete this on-the-job training.
I wish to express my sincere thanks to Engr. Kristina Borbon, BSECE Program Area
Head, for being supportive and for the learning opportunities.
I place on record, my sincere thank you to Dr. Felicidad N. Altalaguire, Dean of the
Faculty, for the continuous encouragement and approval to do the training on PLDT-Bacolod.
I am also grateful to Engr. Francisco Jubelag, Jr. VI, VisFxATOp/FF2 coordinator and
Engr. Herbert Mendoza, Telecom Engineer II, and with the rest of the team at PLDT Visayas
Fixed Access & Transport Operation Division (IP Core Network). I am extremely thankful and
indebted to them for sharing expertise, and sincere and valuable guidance and encouragement
extended to me.
I appreciate the support extended by Mr. Giovani Celarbo, Telecom Technician, for
assisting us in the process of the application and to Mr. Renato D. Santillan, Company Manager,
in approving our request to have our on-the-job training at PLDT Visayas Fixed Access &
Transport Operation Division.
I also place on record, my sense of gratitude to Rhemar Bon Valdez, Joseph Neil
Gumbao, Noel Ledesma, Nelson Sedillo and Jan Paul Torres for the friendly support and
