Alpine Shire Federal Grant

You may have heard that the Alpine Shire have
obtained a Federal Grant of approx $1.75 million, and
they are also putting in funds to bring the total up to
roughly 3.8 million. The committee are working behind
the scenes to try and win some of that funding to
be spent on upgrading facilities for AARC and Bright
Pony Club with the aim of covering part of the large
arena and also a shed. Can you imagine that!!! We
are thinking that with a new kitchen the current club
rooms are workable. If we dont try we wont get
anything so we are trying for a lot!
What you can do? Talk about our club to as many
people as you can. Raise our profile. Keep our grounds
looking as good as we can. Please pick up your horse
poo and put it under a tree. This applies to the yards
and the grass area as well. Every now and then take a
rake down and rake up some leaves. The world is your
oyster.
