The Miracle Worker is a one hour, thirty minute,

2000 Walt Disney Pictures film release, in color,
directed by Nadia Tass, starring Alison Elliot, Hallie Kate
Eisenberg, David Strathairn and Kate Greenhouse.

Helen was not born deaf and blind, she got srious fever when
she was seventeen months old and, after recovering from the
sickness, was left deaf and blind.

Perkins Institute sent Anne Sullivan (Alison Elliot), herself

a teacher and former student at Perkins to the Keller's
home.

Anne Sullivan was certain that language is the keys

access to Helens mind.

During the next two weeks, Miss Sullivan worked day and
night to teach Helen.

Characteristic

Hallie Kate Eisenberg as Helen Keller :

Spoiled, wild tempered, naughty but clever
child.

Alison Elliott as Annie Sullivan :

discipline, independent and emotional
but emphaty woman.

David Strathairn as Captain Arthur

Keller : hot tempered but kind father.

Kate Greenhouse as Katherine Adams :

Charitable, friendly, tolerate and very
good mother

Lucas Black as James Keller : hot

tempered, egoistic and jealous man

The Moral Value

A big desire and empathy from Annie
Sullivan to teach, train, and educate
Helen to be discipline, independent
and to have a good attitude can
make Helen changed to be better
than before. No matter what
difficulties we face. Everyone has
challenges to reach whatever they
want to reach while they are deafness
and blindness.
