I can drive recklessly without having it be blamed on my
sex.
o I never heard anyone say Men cant drive, this is
mostly towards women.

 I can demonstrate public affection with my girlfriend

in public without being judged.
o The reason for this is because Im straight.
In society, straight is considered normal.

 I can walk into a store without raising suspicion that

Im stealing.
o Society has formed the idea that only black people
steal.

 I can choose public accommodations without fearing that

people of my race cannot get in or will be mistreated.
This is white privilege because white people have
always been considered the superior race. Causing them
to be treated well almost everywhere.

 I will never have to inform my child about the harsh

realities of systematic race.
Unless something big changes, white people with never
be discriminated against.

Cants
I cant pursue a career in rap without being considered
controversial.
Reason: Rap is considered a black thing because it
revolves on struggles and a hard background.
White people dont go through many struggles
compared to other races.

 I cant show white pride without being considered

racist
white people get enough recognition without having
to show it.

 I cant speak in slang without being taken as a joke.

White people are supposed to be seen as educated

 I cant truly understand racism because I

haven't experienced it.
Other races are targets for racism
In society, the white population is
considered treated too well.

 I cant be in a bad mood and be able to blame it on my

period.
Men dont have periods
Its a curse and a blessing

Lessons Learned
I learned that listing privileges arent easy, especially when they are
white privileges. Doing this project made me feel somewhat conceited.
When looking at black and white privileges I noticed which ones
actually mattered. And its sad to say that white people have a hold on
most of the important privileges. And the way that this country
campaigns its equality has people believing something false. We are
far from it.
