The Charter Boarding High school.
Lottery to attend school. Anyone in the U.S. can attend.
School Colors: White & Blue
Mascot: Mr. Pupper the Bear
Student to teacher ratio: 21:1

The buildings of Carter Academy

This is the front of Carter Academy as


you first drive up.

This is one of the outdoor classes. That


the students have the right to use to work
outside of indoors.

Since there is an outdoor classroom, the school will be in Mt. Airy, North
Carolina. Where it never really snows. (I chose there because it would
be good for kids to be at a good school that is in good weather
conditions.)

Student rooming...
The students have the choice to live at the school
or at home. Rooming is provided for the students
from different states. But separate dorm buildings.
We also have rooming for teachers that are Room
Advisors.(Images on the next slides)

Girls dorm rooms...


The girls will get the choice of living in a quad or a
double. They may also choose who they room with.
Bed room checks (D.A. checks rooms to see if they
are clean, drug free, and a healthy environment.

Boys dorm rooms...

The boys also have the choice to choose if they live


in a quad or a double. They may also choose whom
they room with. Bed room checks (D.A. checks
rooms to see if they are clean, drug free, and a
healthy environment.

( All Students of the school may attend. Students may
bring outsiders to the events.)

School rules...
1.

Children that miss more than two weeks of school do to


unexcused absence will be on school probation. (Consists of after
school DT with all make-up work. If child does not finish all work
they will repeat the year)
2. Cell Phones may be used during passings, lunch time, and free
blocks. NO cell phone use in classes unless a teacher give them
permission.
3. Dress code:
Males: All pants must be on the hips; no disrespectful shirts
or hats; they may wear hats in class; muscle shirts may be worn; any
footwear is allowed but shoes must be on as you enter and exit the
builds.
Females: Skirts, shorts, and dresses must be an appropriate
length; no crop top that show more than two fingers over the belly
bottom; No cleavage (top, under, or side); no disrespectful shirts;
any footwear is allowed but shoes must be on as you enter and
exit the builds.

NO swearing is allowed.

5. No Plagiarism. (If broken once- in school suspension, a call


home to in form families, and a zero for the grade. Broken the
second time- out of school suspension-student must go homeand fails quarter of the class(es) s/he plagiarized in.)

NO over excessive Public Display of Affection

Students must complete freshman, sophomore, junior, and
senior portfolios in order to graduate.

If an rules are broken student(s) will be warned, if done again


student will be given a DT every time they caught after. If a
student or students gets more 4 DTs from breaking a rule the
student(s) will be on school probation until I (the principle) believe
he or she has learned their lesson.

Forensic Science, Human Development and
