Personal Statement
I feel that I would be suitable for this job for many reasons. Firstly I
am a good leader, Im someone that can lead other people in the
right path and delegate what needs to be done, but I am fair in that
I would treat everyone equally. As said in my cover letter, I was
apart of radio project at the vibe productions, which entailed me to
take lead within the radio show, as well as being a key part within
the group. I was inclusive of everyones ideas and views, as were
they with mine. As well as the teamwork it demonstrates that I am
able to use sound equipment to record a radio show and collect
interviews.
Meanwhile I am a team player, and someone that works well in a
group, and as I understand within this position it requires me to
work closely with many members or the team. Ive worked in groups
within my year at vibe production, I have worked with a large
amount of people, again the radio show would demonstrate that.
Im greatly organised, and ensure that I have files and documents
backed up to ensure that if anything happens there is always
another copy. Within the last year, I have had to be greatly
organised and prepared, due to the tight schedules that we would
have to comply to, as well as that fact that due to this schedule,
there would be no time to go back and film this motivated me more
to ensure that there was no time to actually shot again.
Ive worked with sound, in that I have managed a radio show, which
entailed recording both the show and then the individual interviews,
and then through the editing process I had to edit the recorded
sounds to make sure that it sounded good and that it was of good
enough quality. Another example of when I have used sound is when
I created a music video, which allowed me to create a story along
side a piece of music, it made me be precise with my editing
technique to ensure that actually the video met up with the music
and truly told the story, I think that its important within this job,
because you are trying to tell a story and especially through the
sound aspect.
Within the last year of working at vibe productions I have used and
been exposed to a large amount of equipment, as listed below. I
understand that I havent necessarily work with all the equipment

out their but I feel that I a quick learner and I have been exposed to
a lot of equipment, that actually that they are similar so I do not feel
it would take me too long to get used to other equipment and direct
other people
