Strengths

I am able to sound check the performers by using the mixing desk.

I am able to record someone successfully.
I am able use a mixing desk and a lighting desk during a live performance.

Weaknesses
I could not obtain the tracks required until a later date.
Opportunities

I have had the opportunity to manage the lighting in a live performance at my

school.
I had the opportunity to be in control of the sound and lighting systems during a live
performance.
I had the opportunity to help manage a live performance.

Threats

When working the lighting desk there was technical malfunction.

One person in our group did not turn up for the live event that was suppose to help
us with the lighting and sound.

Conclusion
I believe that I have achieved merit because:
I showed a good grasp on how to organise a recording plan, which included all of the
relevant details. I was very organised and efficient while coordinating resources and
personnel, and was able to work to a schedule.
I produced a multi track recording of good quality, which should be free of distortion and
had a good level of demonstrating a grasp of the recording equipment that the artists use.
I was able to effectively manage the session in terms of time management and
communication with the personnel.

I was able to demonstrate the ability to evaluate the strengths and areas for development,
making reference to the success of the process in relation to their abilities.
