Historic Preservation Panel Discussion

The Bloomingdale Civic Association

Historic Preservation Committee will
present a panel discussion to explain
what historic designation means and
how a historic designation is acquired.
The District Offices of Planning and
Historic Preservation League will give
presentations on the criteria required
to achieve the designation status,
pros and cons, and the process
involved. Other residents that have

experienced historic preservation

designation will offer their insights.
We intend to have a balanced
discussion. We will also discuss the
impact of the recent R-4 zone ruling
restricting pop-ups. What do
Bloomingdale residents want for their
community? This is both the time
and venue for this conversation.
