Biography

Hello, my name is Angela Dolores Strickland. I am 38 years old. I am a wife

to Shane Strickland and we are the proud parents to our three daughters
Caitlin age 13, Breanna age 10 and Natalie age 9. My motto is Faith, Family
and Friends. My hobbies include gardening, crafts, sports and going to the
beach. My family and I enjoy time spent together. We currently do not have
a family pet, but I see one soon in our future. I have always had a love for
children and a passion to teach. I am currently attending Pasco-Hernando
State College to pursue my AA degree and then I would like to attend USF to
obtain a degree in elementary education. I am eager to get my career
started and make a difference in the lives of our youth.

Reasons for becoming a teacher:

To make my three daughters proud of me.

To serve others in my community.
To share my creativity with others.
Teaching is something I have always wanted as a career since I was a
little girl, after having such wonderful teachers and role models as a
child.
After volunteering at my daughters school, it has instilled a warmth in
my heart to help children accomplish what they are struggling in, to
show that they can do whatever you set your mind to do, and have the
sky is the limit attitude!
