Create a QR Code Hunt


Type the information next to each prompt.

1. Shapes can be described by characteristics and position and created
by composing and decomposing
a. Identify and describe shapes (squares, circles, triangles,
rectangles, hexagons, cubes, cones, cylinders, and spheres).

Students will be able to identify different shapes based on a description
3. Determine how you want students to proceed through the QR code hunt and
what they are to do with the information or what they are to do at each clue.
Describe your method here:
The students will work in small table groups and move around to the different
shape stations to figure out what shape the question is asking for. The
questions will be at each numbered station and will have the question at the
station along with the shapes so the students can visualize what shape the
question is asking about. The students will work through the questions and
then will scan the QR code to find the answer to the question. The students
will have a sheet of paper with the question on them. The questions will have
two answer blanks: a space to record their original answer and the correct
answer. First they will write the name of the shape they think it is (using a
word bank), then they will draw the shape and finally they will write the
answer given to them after they scan the code.
