Development

The Punjab State Cooperative Agricultural


Development Bank Staff Training Centre was set up in the
year 1976 to impart training to its own employees.
Training is provided to all ranks and profiles right from the
peons to the General Managers as per the latest
requirements. This training centre is imparting training
only to its own employees. This training centre is funded
under the special scheme called SOFTCOB policy of
NABARD. Apart from the funding by NABARD, the bank
has its own budget for the development of Human
Resources.
In order to lay special emphasis on the need
and quality of training, the following steps have been
taken recently for the up-liftment of training standards
being adopted by the training centre:a) Training Need Assessment of the bank depicting
detailed analysis of various topics of training has
already been done and implemented.
b)Training roaster in respect of each and every
employee including class IV employees containing
qualifications, date of retirement etc etc have been
designed as a complete road map for imparting
trainings in the future.
c) The bank is laying special emphasis on the in-house
capacity building of its own training cell as per
NABARD guidelines.
d)Training programmes are conducted as per course
calendar
duly approved in consultation with
NABARD.
