My name is Lauren Vanderwal and I am in grade ten at R.S. McLaughlin

C.V.I. My portfolio is organized into seven pages, the pages being About
Me, Goals, Resume, Accomplishments, Writing Samples, Careers Testing,
and Skills. My favourite piece of work is my skills acrostic poem because
it reveals some of my most skills that are useful in a workplace. My
portfolio shows I am organized, able to complete tasks, and responsible.
My best piece of work is my mission statement because it shows my
values that I live by. The entry that shows my best effort is my resume
because I do not have any experience, so when making my resume, I
wanted to be seen as capable even without experience. I want you to
notice the effort that I put into the portfolio to make it look professional
and eye-catching. I think I have grown in regards to being more aware
of myself. Next year I plan to work on obtaining a part-time position
while continuing to achieve good grades and joining more extracurricular activities at school. Thank you for taking the time to read to
read my letter of introduction.
