Biography Project Rubric:

DIRECTIONS: This form is designed to help evaluate the biography assignment. The
biography assignment includes the following: Diary Entries (4), Birth Certificate, Timeline (20
events), Biography Bottle, Newspaper Article, Picture Collage, People Poem, Obituary.
1 = Weak

2 = Moderately Weak

3 = Average

4 = Moderately Strong

5 = Strong

The biography project includes four diary entries, at least two

paragraphs in length, that record significant times in the persons
life.

The biography project includes a birth certificate that creatively

shows the date and place of birth, as well as parents names.

The biography project includes a timeline of twenty historical

events that happened during the persons lifetime, but are not the
persons actual accomplishments.

The biography project includes a biography bottle that brings the

person to life.

The biography project includes a newspaper article that might have

appeared during the lifetime of the person and involves invents the
person made happen or was involved with.
