Task Analysis

Goal Statement:
The goal of this professional development workshop is to introduce Google Classroom features to 6-12 grade
instructional staff, promote professional confidence with new educational technology through proper training, and
assist teachers with facilitation of learning with the integration of 21 st century educational technology within a
classroom.

Goal 1:
Learn about Google Apps and
how they are beneficial and
essential in a 21st century
learning environment.

Subset 1.0
Watch the video on Google Classroom and the
beneficial uses in todays education and how it
works.
Subset 1.1 a
Have Internet capability to setup Gmail
account or go to www.gmail.com sign in if
teacher has an existing account.
Subset 1.1 b
Be able to access classroom.google.com to
setup account with password.
Subset 1.2
Select status of account setup: teacher or
student in setup settings.

Navigate to the Home Page.

Explore Google Classroom
Setup applications, tools, and
resources.
