WHO AM I?

I was born October 28, 1955.

I read the entire World Book Encyclopedia when I was only 7 years old.
I am a well-known entrepreneur.
I wrote the software for Altair 8800 with my future partner, Paul Allen.
I dropped out of Harvard to start a company with Allen in 1975.
My company signed a deal with IBM in 1980.
My partner, Allen, left our company in 1983 when he was diagnosed with Hodgkins
disease.
I appeared on the cover of TIME magazine in 1984.
I became a billionaire in 1987 at the age of 32.
I married Melinda French in 1994.
My first child, Jennifer Katharine, is born in 1996.
My second child, Rory John, is born in 1999.
I created a foundation with my wife to fight poverty and polio in 2000.
In that same year, I stepped down as CEO of my company.
My third child, Phoebe Adele, is born in 2002.
In 2007, I received an honorary degree from Harvard University.
In 2008, I retired from day-to-day work with my company to focus on philanthropy.
In 2009, I made a memorable TED speech on malaria, where I let out a jar of mosquitos.
In 2014, I was named #7 on Forbes The Worlds Most Powerful People list.
I have been #1 on the Forbes Richest Person on the Planet list for 16 of the last 21 years.
In March 2015, Forbes listed me with a net worth of $79 billion.
