It is with pleasure that I write this letter of recommendation for a former student of mine,
Avery Lundy. She has only been enrolled alGarza High School since January, yet has
worked quickly to complete the course credits and all of the requirements that she needed
for high school graduation. Creativity, listening with empathy and understanding, and
persistence are her hallmarks.

Our curriculum is completely self-paced, with students the owners of their learning.
Avery has completed the Government and Economics curriculum in this classroom. She
had both a great attitude and the ability to maintain focus on the tasks presented her. She
flew through both courses in record time, yet did incredible work throughout.

Avery is personable and hard.working, and she works wellwithout supervision. Her
maturity and positive attitude were so refreshing. Her ability to channel her energy towards
positive outcomes will help her out in the future. Her confidence and optimism will also carry
her far in the future. lt was such a joy to have her lovely smile in class each day!
wish Avery the best of luck while she plans to continue her studies in business at ACC
eventually becoming the owner of her own restaurant. She will be very effective in college
and whatever path she chooses, as she is a truly remarkable young woman. I recommend
