Welcome to our 2-O classroom! I hope
that you and your family a fun,
relaxing, and safe summer! I am
looking forward to getting to know
you. We will be learning a lot of fun
and exciting things in 2nd grade. I will
send home a weekly newsletter every
Thursday in your students blue
Audubon folder. Our weekly newsletter
will give you a brief look into our
weekly learning in math, language
arts, social studies/science, and
spelling. I will also note upcoming
classroom birthdays and important
dates to keep in mind.

Important Notes:
Breakfast program starts at
8:05 AM. Please make sure your
student is not here any earlier.
First bell rings at 8:20 AM and
the second bell (tardy bell) rings
at 8:30 AM. It is very important
that your student is to school on
time every day.

School dismisses at 3:10 PM. We

will dismiss students from the

playground doors.
Fridays will be a 1 hour late
start. First bell rings at 9:20 AM
and the second bell (tardy bell)
rings at 9:30 AM.

classroom
Read aloud stories with school
themes
Talk about PBIS and being a Kid
of Character

 We will also do some math,

reading, and writing.
