Barbara Kruger

Kruger was born in Newark, New Jersey, in 1945. She


attended Syracuse University and studied at the Parsons
School of Design in New York.
She worked for several magazines as a designer, art director,
and picture editor.
Her style of art addresses different issues and involves
layering images with text to create contrast.
As we look through them write down some thoughts in your
sketchbook.
