Base on the data that my parent give to me the estimated total of our
monthly expenses is P 41,600, which is composed of the following expenses
food, electricity bill, water bill, tuition fee, house rent, allowance,
cable, gasoline, internet bill, and pet care. According to the graph shown
above food has the highest percentage which means food has the highest
allocated budget followed by tuition fee, house rent, allowance and
electricity bill. Gasoline and internet bill has the medium allocated
budget and lastly cable and water bill has low allocated budget. After
asking my parents about our expenses next I ask them is their monthly
income and monthly salary. My mother told me that our monthly income of our
small sari-sari store is P18,000 and she also told me that my dads monthly
salary is P 50,000. All in all the total of the sari-sari store monthly
income and my dads salary is P 68,000. Then difference after subtracting
our monthly expenses to the monthly income and salary is P 26,400. Overall
my parents can save P26,400 every month and all I can say is that our
family budget is just enough for us because my parents can still save
monthly even if me and my sibling is still studying in college. But we can
help them increase their saving by the following, they decrease our
allowance, we sleep early so that our electricity bill will decrease and
lastly will control our food consumption.
