Dear Human Resource Officer:

This is a Letter of Recommendation for Sarah Yearsley. Sarah is applying for a
position with your district/school system. I have worked with Sarah during
her semester of student teaching at Bellarmine University. I am her
supervisor during the Spring Semester of Student Teaching.
Sarah is a very compassionate and enthusiastic young lady. She is very childcentered and wants to do what it takes to ensure that students are taught at
high levels. Sarah builds positive relationships with students and will use
best practices that she has learned during her education at Bellarmine
University to reach her students. She works well with others and is a team
player. Sarah has learned Common Core and how to best implement 21 st
Century learning in her classroom. She has a passion for wanting to see her
students succeed so she will plan her instruction to engage her students
throughout the lesson. Sarah will also differentiate her lessons and
assessments to ensure the successes of all her students. She is not afraid to
ask questions in order to make sure she understands her content or
information about her students.
Sarah is true reflector. She will reflect on her lessons as well as look at data
to determine how to better her instruction or what the next steps are to be. I
have found that she is extremely hard on herself and wants the best from
herself as well as her students. She sets expectations high for herself and
her students. She will be right at their side in order to help them learn to
have high expectations for themselves. She has a true passion for teaching
and learning.
I have no reservations in recommending Mrs. Yearsley for a position with your
district/school system.
