    Project: Weekly Young Womens Club

    Where: Huntington Elementary School

    Who: 8-12 Fourth and Fifth Grade girls

    I will work collaboratively with one to two other staff members to plan and create a
    Young Womens Club at Huntington Elementary School. This would be an after
    school club for approximately eight to twelve girls in fourth and fifth grade. We
    would meet once a week beginning in September and continuing throughout the
    school year.

    Club topics might include:

    Friendship and Girls
    o Making and keeping good friends
    o Relational aggression
    o Gossiping
    o Jealousy
    o Cliques in school

    Social Media and digital citizenship

    Making the right decision in tough situations

    Taking care of ourselves and others

    Body Image and Self-Esteem

    Being an Outstanding Role Model

    Character building activities
