Teaching Points:

Drills for game-like situations

Equipment:

Every player is holding one ball

Depending on the level of performance it is


allowed to perform more self-setting than one
After every ball contact the players should always
try to take up a neutral-position

Drill Objective:
Accuracy under a high difficulty of
coordination

Drill Description:
A alternately performs overhandpasses from one side of the net to
the other. Before A crosses over to
the other side of the net he/she
always performs a self-setting. Each
round the players have to pass at
least 5-6 times across the net.

Drill Variations:

Without self-setting
Include additional tasks
(touching the floor every time
the ball crosses the net)
Within the timeframe of three
overhand passes the players
have to make it across the whole
court (from one base line to the
other 18m)
