The first two tracks come from an unknown date and venue show on a local tv (sam
e as my previous Carnascialia torrent), filling a gap between programs. Much of
this old music stuff was rerun over and over but almost never made it to complet
e broadcast.
Maiden Voyage 1980 was part of a DVD shared on Dime (misdated as 1973); here it'
s incomplete but I included this bit from the same "Schegge" broadcast because h
ere you get lossless audio.
The third part is a 1987 TV appearance featuring Giulio Capiozzo with Area 2 and
Trilok Gurtu, which is somewhat long for italian tv standards. The lineup for A
rea 2 is a bit different from the one which recorded the album "City Sound" and
features a couple of newly recruited members.
Part of this circulates as video in bad quality, incomplete "City Sound" and mis
sing the duet.
Included is a scan of a rare Apr 28 1979 Melody Maker ad, Area seeking a substit
ute for Stratos.
