Imagination is more important than knowledge

- Albert Einstein
Reflecting on the above thought, we realize that complete education can never be confined to
books, it has to be enhanced by experiencing new ideas, places, cultures, civilizations and
meeting new people as well.
In the endeavour of providing the utmost quality of education to our students, six students were
taken to Kennedy Space Centre, NASA, Florida, USA under the Edvour Space Programme.
The 11-day programme included visit to Kennedy Space Centre, lectures and demonstrations
from astronauts, guided tour of NASA and knowledge opportunities in the field of Astronomy.
There was also a cultural tour to Orlando, the largest tourist destination of USA, where the
students also visited Universal Studios and Sea World. Students also visited New York city
where they saw the Statue of Liberty, Times Square, Empire State Building, Fifth Avenue,
Central Park etc. The group also visited Washington DC where they were taken on a guided tour
to the US Capitol, White House, Washington Monument, Smithsonian Museum. The students
also got the opportunity to visit the prestigious MIT and Harvard Universities in the city of
