    Title: Delamination modeling of smart composites.

    The following work has been carried out during semester II of session 2014-2015:

    Validation of the program developed for the FE analysis of deep shells with standard test
    problems on static analysis of isotropic and laminated deep shells has been completed.

    A research paper titled A four-node facet shell element for doubly curved shells based
    on third order theory has been accepted for oral presentation in Indian National
    Conference on Applied Mechanics ( INCAM 2015).

    Literature survey on the FE modeling of elastic and piezolaminated beams, plates and
    shells containing delaminations has been completed.

    Preparation of the research plan for comprehensive examination is under progress.
