The Battle of Lake Erie (Part II)

First battle (South Bass Island) ~

Esther and Tim are in the process of taking over Perry when Dwight and Reggie
arrive. Esther is decreasing the gravity around the guards and Tim is throwing them
into the Lake.
Dwight and Reggie tell Tim and Esther to stop throwing people into the water. They
refuse to comply, so Dwight light travels and knocks Esther over. When she falls she
loses control of her gravitational field so the remaining guards are momentarily
safe. Dwight then runs over and attempts to punch Tim, but Tim transfers a cloud of
darkness into his path and his powers are neutralized. Reggie then fires his light
weapons at Tim, who manages to deflect most of the rays, but he gets hit with one
ray and gets knocked backwards, releasing Dwight from the darkness. Weakened
from spending so much time in complete darkness, Dwight turns invisible while he
recharges to get enough strength back to fly away. Esther meanwhile recovers
and comes over and sends Reggie into the Lake. His weapons all get wet and short
out, so he returns to base while Dwight, who has regained his ability to fly, also
returns to Chicago. Tim and Esther finish taking control of Perry and they remove
the monument from the island and float it back to their base on Pelee.
Second battle (Leamington, Canada) ~
Back on Pelee, Tim decides to build up his Maple Syrup supply, so he and Esther
take a ferry to Leamington, Canada. They buy their Syrup from a private supplier
and then they stop to get donuts. Using facial recognition software, Dwight and
Reggie find Tim and Esther and ambush them as they are walking back to the ferry
dock. Reggie shoots Esther with a light ray. Tim panics and drinks all of the Maple
Syrup and goes absolutely crazy and accidentally destroys Leamington, but
successfully incapacitates the heroes. He and Esther steal all the rest of the syrup
from the debris of the Syrup Shop and head back to base.
Third battle (Pelee, Canada) ~
Tim and Esther go back to Pelee, where Tim enters a post-Syrup-freak-episode
coma, so he is weakened and cant use his powers. He and Esther decide to go to
the winery on the south side of the island to collect giant wine barrels to store the
syrup. Whilst there, they become distracted by the majesty of the grapes and stop
to eat. Dwight and Reggie cautiously approach the island and locate the villains.
Learning from their prior defeats, they pause to survey the situation before
confronting the villains. Suddenly, a cute and fuzzy squirrel with a bushy tail jumps
out of the grape vines near the villains. Reggie, Dwight and Tim are mesmerized by
the cuteness, but Esther, thinking that the Sqwirreks have come to get revenge,
flips out. Seeing an opportunity, Dwight light travels all over the island and collects
all of the island squirrels. Consumed by fear, Esther is powerless to fight back, and
the still recovering Tim is only able to sit and watch as Esther is pelted by flying
squirrels. Under threat of more squirrel terror, Reggie and Dwight convince Esther to
return Perry to South Bass.

Fourth battle (Toledo, Ohio) ~

Somewhere in Toledo, Esther finally comes to her senses and decreases the
gravitational force around the van. It hits a bump and the unbalanced vehicle flips
over, allowing Esther to rescue Tim, who quickly drinks his emergency bottle of
Maple Syrup that he managed to grab before being taken off of Pelee. Quickly
regaining his power, he and Esther flee to the bridge with Reggie and Dwight
following close behind. The villains begin floating it back to their island, like the
Perry incident. They try to drop a car on Dwight, but he runs away. Reggie shoots
the emergency Maple Syrup supply and Tim quickly returns to his non-hero self.
Esther, still shaken from the squirrel ordeal, gets hit by Dwight and she is knocked
unconscious, causing the bridge to drop into Lake Erie. Tim has his powers drained
and he is placed in the Mahkra Asylum. Esther spends the rest of her days in a white
padded cell with walls that display a continuous loop of squirrel pinterest boards.
