The Inventor
William Bourne was the man who proposed the
idea of a boat with a wooden frame covered by
waterproof leather being able to go underwater
and submerge out of the water by contracting its
sides by through the use of hand vises. Although
he did not build his own boat he hired Cornelis
Drebbel to build it for him so that’s why Drebble
often gets the credit for the first submarine.
The stats
This submarine was propelled by 12-15 rowers and
was able to stay underwater. Snorkels were kept
above the water with floats so that they can stay
submerged
For a number of hours.

example you can use them for marine science, salvage,
exploration, or facility maintenance some more often
uses are search and recue, underwater cable repair and
another big job is tourism too so the modern

The Cost And Idea
Not just any joeblow can afford a submarine although
they are an amazing work of art you do have to pay the
price and I am not going to lie that is a lot of money.
This idea of a submarine was based from the everyday
boat and a man named William Bourne a genius with
some pretty good ideas.
