A false sense of connection

According to Cornell University's Steven Strogatz, social
media sites can make it more difficult for us to distinguish
between the meaningful relationships we foster in the
real world, and the numerous causal relationships
formed through social media. By focusing so much of our
time and psychic energy on these less meaningful
relationships, our most important connections, he fears,
will weaken.

Cyberbullying
Cyberbullying is the use of social network which can
harm people intentionally. Some people who get
cyberbullying gets more depressed than people who
get normal bullied. Some people killed themselves
because of cyberbullying. Cyber Bullying makes
people depressed and anxious. The words which are
usually used in cyberbullying are, You are so ugly.
Why dont you just die? Nobody likes you here

Based on a true story, there was a girl named
Amanda Todd who got CyberBullied. She was
pretty but one day there was a man who posted
some bad videos of her and she then got bullied
on social media and real life. People said things
like She deserves it, She should die. She
couldnt take it anymore. She was only 15 when
killed herself.

Decreased Productivity
To me, the biggest concerns companies should have about social
media revolve around reputation damage, legal liability and workplace
issues (cyber-stalking, sexual harassment, etc.). These are the issues
that can hurt the most, with some other things to watch for being
improper disclosure of confidential/financial information, data breaches,
viruses/malware and any other general network security concerns.

Conclusion
By giving employees access to social media in the workplace, there is
a chance some productivity will be lost.
